I have heard some small size companies say: “Ah, digital is not for me”, “I don’t want to invest my time and energy online, it’s too
complicated” “I know it’s important but social media exhausts me”…
We cannot emphasize enough the importance of Digital Marketing in this fast-paced environment. It allows to compete against some of the larger companies and reach more customers. Some small and mid-size aren’t sold on Digital Marketing as a tool to promote their brand and increase their sales. They simply don’t realize all of the benefits it has to offer yet.
The customer expects you to be everywhere. The client is lazy, he wants you to make it easier for him. He is able to browse and purchase products anytime, from anywhere, on any device, all in speedy transactions. How to reach the “everywhere customer”?
If I have to suggest something, I would say:
It’s time to do away with outdated views of marketing. The Internet has completely changed the way you conduct your business and social media is the perfect example of this shift. The cost to get started could be lower than you might imagine and you can reap huge returns from your investment.
It doesn’t mean there aren’t still plenty of offline marketing techniques that can help build and support your company’s brand. In fact, you can take advantage of both online and offline initiatives to create a multi-faceted approach.
Don’t try to take on too much too quickly. As tempting as it is to jump on all what the digital world offers and expect immediate results. Choose what is the best for your business, engage, sale, track and optimize!
It takes time, be patient and don’t be afraid to connect, it’s worth it!
